not to get some of you excited....but it's in the 'potential' building plans for the space where the old franks nursery was in Smithtown (opposite the watermill).....I live in the housing complex right behind it....it's been on the zoning list for town approval.....but it hasn't been discussed lately....they're building a Walgreens there and originally it was Walgreens, Legal Seafood and Arbys that were going up.....I'm SOL if they put an Arbys there....my fiance LIVES at that place when he's down south on business...

I miss arbys in lindy/w. babylon all my friends worked there and i would eat for free. Oddly enough i was thin then
Roy Rogers fh and i ate at twice the one near mastic but it was a bit dirty when I went there and the registers were not working. I am not a snob at all with fast food because fh and i go on road trips and eat in dives but it was scary that day at RR. I still love RR though... miss the one in sunrise mall.
Favorite FF is A&W Restaurant. That is only because fh's father owned the one that was open in the 70's in Lindenhurst and the fact we both love rootbeer floats.

Thank you, thank you, thank you girls! FH and I have been kidding around for a while now about having Arby's shipped in from somewhere for our wedding. Now we can just go to Hicksville...yay!! (Oh no, how many points is that on Weight Watchers?)

i heard one will eventually be opening in the Walmart in East Meadow. I've gone to the arby's in the broadway mall and the price of the arbys melt is way inflated. when we go to arbys in other states the melt is around a dollar but in the mall it comes to like $3 or something ridiculous like that.
i might as well buy some steak-ums, hamburger rolls and cheez and make them myself!

There is a new Arby's in Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
DH just told me that this past weekend. We were SO happy - we love Arby's. But I think we love it so much because we rarely have it (we get it when we go to our house in the Pocono's). It is like a treat when we get it. If we had it everyday I think we would get sick of it. But I still am so excited!!!

i never had Arby's until recently!
FH actually drove about 45 minutes each way to get it for us one day lol turns out there is one a little closer now ( in Queens) here are all the Arby's near me - it is seriously AMAZING!!
