I am getting married at Glen Island Harbour and I am obligated to use Arcadia or Diana Gould as my florist. Any past experiences with them?
just got married at fountainhead (same owners as GI) and used Arcadia. i was very happy with the outcome...i have some pics in my album. good luck!
Diana Gould is the most famous and admired floral and events designer in Westchester. Her reputation is not unwarranted as she has produced the flowers and table decorations for some of the most fabulous weddings to take place in Westchester and Manhattan. Several of my friends who used her had literally spectacular weddings - jaw dropping flowers. Her customer service is unparalleled and she is so sweet a person. I ultimately did not decide to go with her because another designer I visited was able to produce a more modern take on what I wanted. But if I had gone with her, I wouldn't have regretted it for a minute.
i am getting married next June and chose Arcadia (get married at The Fountainhead), i met with Diane at DG actually and she was quite nice but felt that i was getting alot more for my $ at Arcadia, i also felt very comfortable with Sammy at Arcadia...he made 2 samples before i even booked with them. good luck
