Are they wearing short dresses or long? If they are wearing short dresses they should spend the $30 on the same shoe. If not, it really doesnt matter.

I don't care what they look like as long as they are silver and open toe. Everyone can choose what works best for them. We have long dresses too so you won't really see the shoes that much

$30 is not too much to ask for and if the BM dresses are short I think you are being reasonable to ask them to be in the same shoe (although personally i would never ask my girls to wear the same shoe bc i know what it is like to have a wide foot and findin shoes that I want to be in for 6 hours is not an easy task!) However, if they are in long gowns then they should def be allowed to pick what they want bc you will barely see the shoe. JMO

are the dresses short? if so i would try to have them in matching shoes, with the exception being the pregnant bride she's going to uncomfortable enough being 8 months pregnant let her rest her feet.
if the dresses are long it shouldnt matter what shoes they wear.

I just told mine silver shoes, they have long dresses so you really don't see them anyway. While I don't think 30$ is alot to spend, I do understand how being 8 months pregnant you would want to wear flats.

are your girls wearing long or short dresses?
If they are in long, i dont think its a big deal for them to wear whatever shoe they want..as long as the shoes are all the same color.. you will barely see the shoe anyway...
If they are in short dresses, yes i would say the same shoe. so it will look more uniform...

i couldn't ask them to do that. they were already spending money on a dress they're probably never going to wear again. i didn't want to do that w/ them for shoes

no they just know to wear gold sandals...they have long gowns if it was short dresses then yes i would have wanted that

Nope! I really have no preference. Their dresses are black so I told them Whatever style, color, heel you want!! THey are wearing them so It doesnt make a big diff to me !

my BMs are wearing long gowns, all the same shoe - came to $42 each from DSW with a 2 1/2 inch heel and my Jr. BM has the same shoe in a flat version

I told my girls just to get a silver sandal. I would never want to be told which shoe I had to wear because everyone is different. I feel they should be able to wear whatever shoe is most comfortable for them since they are going to have to spend all day in it for me. JMO.

Thanks girls- I gave them a decision- they either have to be ALL closed toe or ALL open toe and black satin- from there it's up to them.
They'll all vote on whether they want toes out or in-
I really can't even bring myself to understand why this matters-
and yes the dresses are long.

I'm making all my girls wear the same color but I don't care the style of the shoes. If you want them all to match though, I think $30 is a pretty reasonable price.

I dont care what kind of shoes they are wearing, as long as they are SILVER...
and NOTHING TO DO WITH U, but if I was ur BM I will NOT wear the shoes u want me to wear... I have knee problems and cant wear very HIGH heels so i have to be with TOPS if anything 3'... (Even with 3i will be experiencing pain later on)...

I just told mine silver; dresses are long so they won't be super visible anyway (plus my MOH is 6'1' and LOVES wearing 4' heels, and my jr. BM is 12, so no massive heels for her; logistically dictating a specific pair just doesn't make sense to me).
