my fh sister is a BM, and my brother is going to be a groomsman. we did not include any spouses of sister or brothers.

My FH wasn't in my sis wedding, my BIL will not be in our wedding.
ETA: My FH was in a lot of pics, as was BIL sisters B(oy)F.

Yes, his sister is my bridesmaid. I'm not too close to her, but it's out of respect for my FH.

I'm bucking the system here, but no. Although my FSIL is a sweetheart, I don't know her well. It is more important to me to have close family and lifelong friends in my BM.

FSIL is not in the BP for many reasons. One main reason is because she does not know how to act. I know that she is upset with my decision but she has to remember that it is my wedding and my decision.

My FSIL was a bridesmaid in my wedding but my brother's now -finacee was not - they weren't engaged when I chose my bridal party and you never know what happens- so, i gave her a reading.

Yes, his sister is a BM. But she is the only sibling either of us have and I'm hoping this will bring us closer together.

WE agreed that our party was so big already to not include each others' siblings in the BP. His niece and one nephew are the FG and RB and my sister is my MOH. One of his sisters will do a reading and one of my stepbrothers wants to write a poem to read at the reception. Those are the 2 we are both closest too.

One FSIL is a BM and the other one is doing a reading. She said she is too old to be in a bridal party (she is 42). Also FI's SIL is in the bridal party. I picked one out of 3 of his SILs because that is the only one I liked. He has my sister's fiance as a groomsman.

We asked his sister, even though I am not close with her, usually we don't get along, but figured he wanted his sister in it, and I wanted to be the bigger person.
Well she decided after my Bridal shower which she didn't show up at, that she wanted out. So we gave her the option to step out, and she wanted to so we asked a friend that I originally wanted to ask.

Yes FSIL is my matron of honor!! I would't have it any other way!! we are very close and she is like a sister to me.

My FH's sister is my MOH. I dont have any sisters and I am close to her. FH has no brothers and he picked my brother to be the best man. It worked out very nice

I'm not particularly close to his sisters, but I included them both (and they were honored). I feel like the bridal party should represent the bride AND the groom, and if I had any a brother he would have certainly been a groomsmen.
One of their husbands did a reading, and their kids were our flower girl and ring bearer.

One of his bio sisters is...the other one isn't. Is that gonna be bad? I get along great with the one, but the other -- ugh!
Then he's got I don't know how many step sisters and half sister but they aren't BMs.
