I'm planning to, but haven't decided on a place yet. I've heard that John of Ballroom Dance LI (a vendor here) is good.

I don't want to....I have never heard a bride and groom say that it was fun, went well, or they were happier doing it. However, FH really wants to so we will see what happens.

Well here is your first...
we did and we loved it. We used John from Ballroom Dance. Our dance came out great and we just saw it on our video this weekend and I have to say I think we looked good.

Re: Are any of you ladies ...
I wanted to but we never got around to it. We'll just wing it and make fools of ourselves I used to be on my college dance team, but unless I'm banging out pirouettes and toe-touches I'm going to look like just as bad a dancer as FH

We're not. It's just not my style, but I don't hate the idea.

Re: Are any of you ladies ...
we aren't...we are going to just be in the moment.
my friend and her now husband took dance lessons before their wedding and it looked terrible. You could see them counting steps and just didn't seem romantic at all. So if you do take lessons...try to make it look natural when u are dancing

here's your second...we choreographed a fun non traditional first dance...took lessons at Arthur Murray (Southampton)...had fun doing our first dance...and at every lesson.
