eventhough your RH said they will make it for you?
I am considering making my own along with the place cards and table numbers because my RH makes their's pretty plain looking. However when i look at how much i will be spending, it seems pretty crazy to go thru all of this and the guests may not even notice. What do you think?

I made mine! I did it on recycled paper...
How they looked on the table
We folded them so that only the monogram and the word 'MENU' showed and we stamped the back with a bride and groom kissing- i think they came out pretty and it was a nice personal touch
Actual menu
Absolutely gorgeous!! What program did you use to make these?

Nope. Our hall makes us personalized menus that are really nice.

Thank you! Adobe Illustrator I think. I don't even remember
I can send you a pdf if you want and if you have the program you can work off of that...

Re: Are any of you making your menus
I went to a wedding last June and the menu had the couple's monogram on it, which matched the ceremony program monogram, etc.
I think I'm the only one who really noticed because I had gotten engaged a month before and was in wedding-planning mode. I say this because I made a comment to 2 female guests at our table (1 married and 1 unmarried) about the monogrammed menu card and they nodded their heads and that's it...no oooos, and aaaahhhs. The menu cards were left behind on the tables and thrown out at the end of the evening.
Based on this observation, I have decided to go with my RH's plain menu cards.
You are, of course, free to do what you want.

Re: Are any of you making your menus
I did my own placecards and menus, they coordinated with my invites (stardream paper backing, matched my pocketfold invites). Probably wasn't noticed by many but I thought it was a nice touch

CLM does them for a fee

Re: Are any of you making your menus
I dont know if my RH does them to be honest. I would like to do my own but I wouldn't even know where to begin to do it or how to do it for that matter
