3 days in Chicago and I have come to realize how obsessed my mother is with weddings...OMG! All she watches is Bridezilla, Say Yes to the Dress, Platinum Weddings, Amazing Wedding Cakes and right now she is watching Martha Stewart because her show is about weddings!!! I think my mother is the reason I stress about this wedding. Any other girls out there with the same issue?

my mom is the total opposite. i try to trick her into watching those shows if we are in the living room together...hahaha

YES!!!!
She secretly wants to be my wedding planner lol. It's DEF a little annoying at times but i know she means well.
So far she's 'found' (quotation cuz i'm not going along with everything lol) bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, DOJ, wedding dress, BP favors, ring bearer pillow, garter, edible favors (even though i'm doing a donation ), and card box.

my mom doesnt watch the shows cause she's in israel, but all she talks about is the wedding. we discuss on the phone every thing in excruciating detail

Yes, she is totally obsessed with weddings...Both me and my bro are getting married, 6 months apart, so she's in all her glory...

my mother makes me so nervous when it comes to wedding planning. she is really into it & watches all the shows. however, she doesn't get that i want to do things at my speed rather then at hers.

When I called my parents to tell them I got engaged (my parents live on Cape Cod so FH called to talk to my dad a few days before he popped the question) my mom was like, You aaaare? Like she wasn't even surprised lol. Then she told me that she already made her side of the guest list and had already picked out some gowns that she thought I'd like. I'm like, Ok crazy lady! I know she means well though

My mom asks to see pictures of me in mymy dress every day.
THEN she asks me to show her random girls on LIW and their dresses.
She's all 'I bought you a garter yesterday, if you don't like it... we'll just buy another one.'
She bought all of our china about a month after we were engaged (we weren't even registered!) 'Joanne, it was such a good deal... I couldn't pass it up!'
'When you were with Alyssa and Jessica did you buy a veil?' 'What about your wedding ring?' 'What are you waiting for?'
'When are you sending out Save The Dates? Do I get one?!'
'Let me see your engagement pictures again..' 'They're so pretty, but you should do another shoot like Jessie said.'

my mom is like DIY obsessed and I dont want to bother because I will get all fustrated with things. I let her know the things that are going on with vendors and what not but she really isnt like I am going to plan the whole wedding obsessed. which is a great thing since mom and I clash at times.

my mom's super obsessed. she watches all the shows and texts me things like omg look at her dress! lol my mom's going off the deep end.
