not doing a guest book? I'm torn between having one (saw one on Esty and the guests can write well wishes to the bride and groom on heart shaped cards) and not having one. Went to a wedding this Saturday and only 10 people signed the guest book and I was one of them

I think if you can put one of your bridal party members in charge of making sure it makes its way around the room at dinner, you shouldn't have a problem with people not signing it. And if you're doing a non traditional guest book, I think more people will want to sign it just out of curiosity lol

I'm hoping so. I looked on shutterfly to try and incorporate our engagement pics into a guestbook but I like the idea I saw on Etsy too. It's just different.

I'm not doing one... Personally I feel like most people don't sign them, although I have seen some on Etsy that I do love but in the end for us we just didn't feel it to be a necessity

I'm only doing a photobooth scrapbook/guestbook. They leave a copy of their strip and write something as well. The photobooth strips are also going to be our favors (we'll just be purchasing the little frames for everyone).

I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago & not many people signed the guestbook.

I only made one up because Shutterfly had a deal and I got it for free! (only had to pay for shipping)..It came out really nice and is great quality!

The weddings that I've been to where it worked well, the bride and groom made a point to ask people to sign it when they came around to visit the tables. This is whether it's a traditional book, a wishing tree, or even a photobooth. I feel like people just need the reminder, and to feel like its something you want them to do.

Instead of a Book we're ordering a wooden sign from etsy that can be signed and hung up in our home so we actually use it rather than putting it away to never look at

Was the guest book somewhere where everyone could see it? Or was it something unusual (anything that's not an actual book)? Maybe people didn't know if they didn't have proper signs.....
I think it's good to have and who ever signs will sign it...and whoever doesn't doesn't...no biggie

I want to do something we can display. I'd love a photo booth, but if that doesn't work out, I want to have something (maybe a matted engagement photo) or wooden sign with our family name that we can hang in our home. If you need ideas, I thought a couple of these were fun!

Lol. FH just reminded me that he bought an 'I Do' frame for our guest to sign.

We aren't having one. I feel like a lot of people don't sign them anymore, and I also don't know what to do with it after the wedding.
