My reception room has a maroon and gold theme to it, it's really pretty but I have my heart set on a pink and ivory wedding, which clashes with the theme of the room. The chairs have maroon cushions so I'm looking into getting chaircovers but with all the price quotes I'm getting, it looks like it's going to be an extra $600, and I haven't even gotten a quote for the tableclothes yet! It's a lot of money, do you think it's pointless?

I wouldn't waste my $$$ on them. My rh includes them in. But I have seen the ones at millerage there nice.

I like them...and the bm was going to throw them in for free when we booked..but my fh thinks they look like drop cloths that you put over funiture when you paint..but they are a bit expensive..s
I think the same about the drop cloths!

I am not really a fan of them, but it also depends on what kind of chairs the place has.

Re: are chair covers pointless?
well milleridge has really nice chairs but the reason why I'd be doing it is so the room would match my color scheme. I'm a bridezilla, I know

I think it depends on how the chairs at your venue look. I have gone to some weddings were the chairs didn't need covering. But, if that is a look that you want I would go for it.
