Both of his parents are deceased. Mom when he was 9 and dad when he was 18. I really wish his mom was still around. From what I hear she was a great lady.

Yes his parents are still married after about 34 years and my parents celebrated their 38th anniversary today.

No, but I'm confident they would be still married had his mom not died on July 24, 1984 (leukemia) They had been happily married for 29 years at that time - with 5 kids.

They got divorced in May but they had been separated ofr over 5 years. My FH was about 25 when they broke up. It's been very difficult with the weddings - his brother's got married last September and the other this past April. His mom doesn't want to look at his father and he just re-married the woman he was with the entire time. It's caused much drama - his father hasn't been to either rehearsal dinners or his now wife to either of the shower's. NOT an easy situation We are waiting to see what happens with our wedding - only time will tell!
