Re: are games usually played
I dont remember playing any games at any weddings I have been to.
Is that something you and your guests might be into gab? It sounds like it could be fun

I dont remember this at weddings, but they usually play games to take home the centerpiece. Is this what they are talking about?

what about the blow up guitars and all the crap - ive seen that on wedding pics but i dont recall being at a wedding where they give out gadgets - for like when they play 60's music --

NO GAMES! I think they are a little cheesy during a wedding. I also don't like DJs who bring dancers or how give out stuff .. just my honest opinion, please do not jump down my throat
I think games are for sweet 16s. You aren't going to have time to play games, with all the dancing, eating, and saying hello you have to do!

I think some weddings use the give aways...personally I think a wedding is a formal affair and those things aren't necessary. I know others may feel differently. As for the games?? Never heard of it!

I totally agree.
Games make me think of bar mitzvahs with 'Coke & Pepsi' etc. Same with giveaways
I personally prefer a band, but I think a DJ can still be classy if they go about it the right way. However, blowup guitars, sunglasses, dancers, games etc take away from the elegance of the event --- unless that is not the mood you are going for, I'd steer clear of games.

I think it depends on the familyt and friends you have coming, mine love to party and are a little crazy (in good way) and the will enjoy the give aways, and i'm also having some kids at the wedding so they will ejoy it also

My drunk guests would just use any blow up guitars to do lewd things with or throw them around, getting ME in trouble. The less there is, the better.

No games, no give aways, and no organized dances ( electric slide, etc) for me anyway!

I'm not having any games at mine except the centerpiece give away. I know my Mom wants all the give aways, but I put my foot down on that one.
