Are navy pennants not wedding-y enough?

Are navy pennants not wedding-y enough?

Okay ladies, the original plan was to have a mixture of navy and white pennants for guests to wave outside the church. We were going to paint the dowels silver, and attach navy ribbon to the dowel on the white pennant, and white ribbon to the navy pennant. We would also put our monogram or the NY logo on the pennant.

Well I was talking to my sister (not the design one, but the more 'planning' one- she's doing my bachelorette party) and she thought the all-blue might be too much. She thinks it's not wedding looking at all. Should I just have all white pennants with navy ribbon? Or do you think mixing the navy with the white will be just fine?

TIA!

What if you had your monogram on them?

Maybe your awesome graphic designer sister can make your monogram look like the Yankees NY symbol?

ETA: White monogram on the Navy Pennants .... Navy monogram on the White Pennants

I agree, regardless of color! You will be in a white dress so you will know its a wedding! Besides I think its a great idea to do it-I say go with the navy too

I think that would be nice. The church would certainly appreciate not having to clean up bird seed ( I hate getting that in my hair anyway)

theyre fine, esp if you like that they go w/ your theme!

I always catch myself asking the same thing, 'well is this wedding-y enough?' during my planning. and then im like thats silly, by whos standards?...just do what you love since its your special day.
