Plan or keep the top of your cake? Ours is sitting in our freezer but we just realized today that it was never wrapped up its just in the box. Is it bad luck if we get rid of it???

unless its really wrapped well it will be disgusting in a year. Wrap in in saran and then in a ziplock. Honestly, it will prob be gross no matter what. sorry. lol

Everyone I know that saved their top tier for a year said that it tasted like straight-up @ss a year later.
Someone told me that we should instead eat it on our one-month anniversary, so that's what we'll be doing.

i would just eat it.
you can have a 'replica' made for your anniversary if you want.
or save a piece i guess? it probably tastes awful.

I completely wrapped ours when we got home from the RH the next day in saran wrap and ziploc bag and then put it in our extra freezer, so we will try to bust it out on our 1 year

its in my freezer now but everytime i see it i wanna eat it. i think i'll take it out and defrost it so i cant eat it sooon....ooh on our one month!

I like a 1 month rule instead of a year. lol
Knowing FH he isn't going to want the top of the tier though because it's chocolate, he is going to want the cannoli filling one. I want all three fillings.

I'd like to keep ours, but we'll probably wind up throwing it out when we run out of room in the freezer. And now, thinking about it, I don't want to eat year old cake!
