Are people still saying that we have a long time to go?
I called the lady that is doing our cake to set up an appointment and put down the deposit and she told me.....wow you got a ways to go you are early.....not im not weinch! I have 11 months to go!!
Anyone else still getting this i mean come on...we have a year to go!

SOmetimes.. but its starting to die down. Everyone is always shocked when I tell them How much of the planning Im already done with.
Im like shoot, when you have to pay for it, having a lot of time is a blessing!

i was getting that alot and every now and then i still do. I have everything booked... but we r starting to look at houses now.. and i didnt want to be planning a wedding and looking at houses at the same time.

a little especially isnce we are no near the year point yet. i tune thsoe people out and think if they want my $$ they will book us now!!

but i would think that once we got to 2008 then it would stop....its just irritating

I have less than 10 months to go, and people are still asking - why are you waiting so long to get married (my engagement is only 1 year, and with work I only have certain good slots to take off 2 weeks for a wedding and HM!).
But my friends who have already gotten married think I am really smart to get all of the planning done in advance. They remember trying to plan this stuff with only a few months left and it was really horrible on them.

yes, i did get that too, but starting next month, we will be at our 1 yr mark.

im the one that keeps saying that...ive still got 17 months to go...so for me, that feels like an eternity..and yes i know that it will go by soo fast, but i dont wanna rush and have everything planned right now..im enjoying taking my time

I think that the time has been flying by - just last night FH and I were going thru our 'wedding book' (yes its because im OCD ) and i couldnt believe that we have been engaged for over 2 months already - it feels like it was just yesterday - we have all the vendors booked and i am starting my DIY projects this afternoon - i do not want to be overwhelmed - little by little we're getting there..
