ok so i do LOVE heels and i wear them everyday for work- i love shopping for them and everything,
but i've always envisioned being barefoot for the ceremony- (its not a beach ceremony, but its outside in a garden, so i still wanna be bare foot)
and by the time the reception starts i wanna be in flip flops anyway so i can dance my heart out-
so do i really have to buy shoes??? the only reason i would wanna buy shoes would be to have them photographed! but i probably wouldnt wear them.....
and i know everyone thinks im crazy but i just ordered foot jewlery to wear for the ceremony- check them out- i think they're beautiful!!!

thanks ladies for all your opinions- and I do agree taht maybe i'll jusdt get shoes IN CASE it does rain or whatever- BUt i'm doin barefoot- cause its my wedding and totally my style- i LOVE being barefoot, running throu a field of flowers- thats just me!!!

Odds are that no one will see your feet and it is your day, if you want to go with out shoes, I say go for it as long as it makes you happy

I know someone who also envisioned getting married barefoot in a garden... i thought it was a bit strange, but to each his own... What if the grass is wet/muddy out? Will you have a backup plan? If anything, I'd go with flip flops...

i LOVE that idea!!! I want to do that too!!!! as I HATE wearing shoes... I wear them TO places, but take them off within 5 minutes (like at work I walk in and take them off before even turning the computer on). but I'm 4'10 and FH is 5'10 so (picture wise) I need a little height... but I'd love the jewelry for the reception... where'd you get it?
