My god! I think I am going to rip my skin off!!! It does not burn when I scratch it...that's wierd, but it itches so much. I went to the dermatologist today and while I was waiting in the office, people kept asking me if it was a rash. I never did get to see the doctor though because they messed up my appointment. Wondering if it's sun poisoning or something...or an allergy to SPF?

Don't they itch right before they start to peel?

Re: Are sunburns supposed to itch?
NOOOOOOOO! I don't wanna peel! I really should stay out of the sun...I just love being outside though. I have been putting a ton of aloe on, as well as solarcane and hydrocortizone (to help the itch as directed on webmd.com). It is in a spot that may not see as much sun (the ladies ) One day I'll learn...

Re: Are sunburns supposed to itch?
You may have a heat rash. I get that and it is very itchy and sometimes looks bumpy. I got cream from my dermotologist for it, I think Cortizone works to.
Heat rash doesn't necessarily come from a sun burn, just long exposure to heat.
