I'm from Bergen County too. Couldn't find anything I liked in my price range on this side of the river, and it's more convenient to everyone--his family lives all the way out in the Island, mine are in NJ or the city, so it's halfway for both.

Yup, I'm from Jersey and we're actually getting married in Jersey too. I was in Hoboken up into 6 months ago when I moved into my FH's House her on LI. Hoping to meet some good friends here b/c I miss my Jersey friends and doing Girl's Night once a week in Hoboken (sushi and martini's... YUM) ..

Im near you like 15 min away im in the willowbrook mall area .. small world (im an ikea fanatic so im alwyas up by paramus.. best mall too bad its packed all the time)
