My dress came with a wrap and I wore it from the house out to the car then I never wore it again. It was chilly the day I got married and it Poored!!!! So you may want to have one just in case

David Bridal dress have great prices,. Unfortunately, if you are having a special order dress they need a long time. I had big problems with them. And forget about alternations. They are too busy.

I ordered a bolero jacket from Maggie Sottero. I will see if I can posted the pic.

Sorry if the pic does not look too good. It would not take a pic larger than 50K therefore I had to convert .bmp to jpeg. I am not good at this ... anyway here is the bolero jacket...

I got married last November. Its a great time of year.I got my dress from David's Bridal.I had the alterations done somewhere else because they are so busy there and I didn't want to take any chances with them losing my dress or anything.

I am getting married 11/26. I am sending out my invites in the beginning of September. I am hoping some will respond early.

Some halls require a final head count 1-2 weeks before your date.

Hey Missy-thanks for posting that pic, it looks very nice & it'll come in handy when i'm looking for my own bolero or cover for my dress (not that i'm copying you lol )

In the Wedding Planner that I have it says that invitations should typically be mailed out 8 weeks before the wedding date & make sure the deadline you give them to reply gives you enough time for you to give the final count to your hall

Bump...did anyone book or do anything over the weekend???

I booked Flowers by Burton's and looked at more wedding dresses. I'm beginning to think I will never find one I like

BUMP--I booked my limos with Royalty over the weekend & i'm so happy, the ppl there were nice & we got a good deal (within what we budgeted for transportation) & it was fun sitting in the different cars, I'm glad we got that done...

this weekend I have appointments with Florists & Photographers...So what else have you November brides done??

regina--don't worry you still have time for the dress, I haven't gotten mine either! Did you go to RK Bridal?

Re: Are there any November brides?

Josie-

I have an appt on Sun, Jan 26th for 11:30am. I guess I will go through their website and write down the names and style numbers of dresses I am interested in trying on...

I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow, and in away I wish we werent going...I just got started with the plans again. I feel as though I keep starting and stopping.

But I do have 2 appts with DJ for the weekend we get back and then RK Bridal, so at least I have things set up.

Glad to hear you booked your limos. I was thinking of going to Royalty as well. Do you know if they have buses???

Re: Are there any November brides?

yes Royalty does have buses, I left the brochure at home so I don't know how much they cost but I know they have different sizes, You should shop around for limo companies, but the good thing about Royalty is that they own their own cars so you don't have to worry about that..you could probably call & they can tell you the price

(be sure to try & negotiate the price with them before booking if you plan to go with them!)

Josie-

Thanks for the tip...I will go look at others as well. Most importantly we are looking to rent a bus so no one drinks and drives.

I was a 11/10/02 bride. We had a freak nice day where it was almost 60 deg and we were married outside. The colors were beautiful and the landscaping at the caterer still looked great. I'll post pics in a minute.

JMS-

That would be great, especially if you could include pictures of your flowers..so we can all get some ideas.

Re: Are there any November brides?

thats a good idea, we were thinking about having a bus but we went over our guest list & realized everyone pretty much has a car & designated driver so we just got two 10 passenger limos & a Rolls Royce--(I wasn't planning on getting one, but my FH surprised my & said that I could pick the classic car that i liked & he suggested it would also be nice for pics)

oh & another tip before going to the limo companies, have an idea of what time & where you need you & your people to be picked up & how many hours you will need to have the car, also think about if you need them to pick you up as well..
