All I have is the hall & the church, but I have several appointments over the next two weeks for the different vendors, I am leaning towards Cassarino for photography & either Spin Around Sound for DJ
KimmieG & Lmissb -- I noticed you chose them as your DJ, any feedback?

Re: Are there any November brides?
We decided to go with Tom from Spin Around Sound because he had a lot of great ideas for our wedding. my FH and I both have lost our fathers, so we were concerned about our mothers coming into the reception, and certain songs, and he had all these cool ideas. We felt comfortable basically

Jodi73 -
I think it is possible to get anything if you can spend it.
I think fall colors vs. Christmas colors are the way to go up to the end of November. However, some halls decorate their place with Christmas trees, etc. the last week of Novemeber which we could take into consideration.
I was wondering what fall flowers are available.

Re: Are there any November brides?
hey regina i just sent u a forum mail
I am thinking of using a burgundy or wine color for the bridesmaid's dresses--I think it goes well with November. I saw a nice burgundy dress in a bridal mag that was a tank, a-line style dress and the top (tank) part of the dress was made out of velvet and the bottom skirt was satin & I think its very nice. I'll try to look for it when I get home & post it later...

Re: Are there any November brides?
Josie,
Is it a Dessy dress? From what you described, it sounds exactly like a dress that I am wearing for my friends wedding in Feb. I am a BM. Also, I am thinking of the same colors as you for BM dresses. I have also thought about black, which is my number one choice right now.

Re: Are there any November brides?
we are going to use a cranberry or burgundy color for the bridesmaids as well. I think it will look nice. I want to have the exact color before i go to the florist.
I didn't think Spin Around Sound was expensive for what I wanted. It really depends on your budget and what things you want to spend more on. We wanted to make sure the music was good becasue that was one of the most important things to us.

Re: Are there any November brides?
jodi--yes it is a Dessy dress! I have the mag at home, do you know if dessy has a website?
(I don't know the style number or whatever but maybe you can find it online!)

Josie,
They do have a website...dessy.com
From what you described, it sounds exactly like what I am wearing next month!
Does it have a v-neck?

Re: Are there any November brides?
josie and jodi, I think i flagged that dress in a mag. MOH wasn't thrilled, I have no clue what to look for. I did see maybe a brownish, redish dress, I may do that. Oh well not sure. Please post the dress later if you can. Thanks

Re: Are there any November brides?
I just picked up the dress tonight, it is #1948. It is pretty, I am not too thrilled with the bottom though!

Re: Are there any November brides?
sorry it took me a while to respond but i've been so busy!
Jodi--I went on the website & saw style #1948, & that is not the same dress I saw it & I didn't see it online either. My scanner is on the fritz at home so I can't post a pic, but it was just like that dress except it didn't have that belt thing & the skirt was more slim-fitting. I don't think I will be getting that dress though, I just wanted to give you girls an idea of the style I thought was nice.
So the hunt for the BM dresses continues! I also went on the David's Bridal website & I like Style #2410 in the colors of Apple, Wine or Rose Petal, Would you guys mind checking it out & telling me what you think? Also do you think that the color -rose petal would work for a November wedding?

Re: Are there any November brides?
I got married this past November and wasn't even engaged yet at this time of the year. You girls are way ahead of the game and have plenty of time. Although it does sneak up on you!!!

Re: Are there any November brides?
Dessy Dress was $250. Isn't that alot to ask the bridemaids to pay for? It is a very beautiful dress though. I like the velvet look.
David's Bridal Dress I love the apple color for November. I can't decide between Apple, indigo or black&white....

Re: Are there any November brides?
ooh-indigo looks nice too, its hard to decide b/c i really like apple & rose petal-- I plan to ask my BMs for their opinion on dress & color..
i also thought that Dessy dress was pretty pricey for the bridesmaids, & I thought that the David's dress was more reasonable at $99

Re: Are there any November brides?
Did any November brides or brides-to-be wear a coat or shawl over there dresses? If so, what did you think & where did you get it? :EMO20
I am thinking of getting one since it may be a bit chilly
