So, I hope this doesnt offend anyone but I have been basically unstressed with this whole wedding planning...yes I sometimes go back and forth with decisions and go crazy with it but I still have never felt that real Stress that so many girls talk about. I am really loving every step of it. Anyone else?
PS- Im sure karma will come back to me and I will be a freakin mess at some point (hope not tho)

Yeah i didn't get it either at first. Once you get closer it all hits you. Now theres plenty of time, no real time crunch.

I'm not stressed..and haven't been. I've been engaged since 2007. I'm sure once 2010 hits I'll be more stressed. Right now I still have time!

Knock on wood I don't want to jinx anything but I HAVE TO AGREE!!! I am loving every part of this planning. I know a few girls from besides these boards that are palnning weddings and they are totally stressed and keep talkin about how they can't wait for this to be over. I'm DREADING when this is over because I love it so much. But I'm naturally an organized person who loves planning and is just a go getter in general. I'm with you girl! :))

i was fine that far away, then I had the summer off which stressed me out and made me think a lot right before falling asleep....then I was not stressed from September-Dec
now I'm anxious and stressed with the final little things again with 3 months left

So far I am not stressed.. I've been engaged since 2008. I think because i am a meeting and event planner and do this for a living that helps. Now when Sept 2010 comes around that may be another story.

yea, I am not stressed yet, but I am 7 months out. Actually, I am starting to get more and more stressed as I get closer. But when I was a year out, I was definitely not stressed at all. Enjoy it, for now. I am sure you will get stressed out as it gets closer, but it is only natural!!!!

Yeah, when I was at your point, not stressed. Now, 8 weeks away, STRESSED! Lots to do, not a lot of time, every day something else...You'll get there girl!

I'm not stressed yet, but I've only been engaged for 3.5 weeks soooo maybe some stress with come!
But then again, I L O V E planning things. I love being busy and honestly, 'down time' stresses me out!

oh god thats when it hits and hits hard. All of a sudden you realize how much more you have left to do and not as much time. With both money wise and also your to do list. At that point you have to have most of the money to finish paying everything off, and then when you realize you have just 8 weekends to do things, it hits hard. I remember having a long list, and with working at that time in NJ and not having much time during the weekdays, and saying just 8 weekends to get it all done seemed insane. Last few weeks, i had so much to do EVERY single day.

yea i dont think that even exsists?!?! LOL LOL just wait til your about 3 months away like me- I just feel like there are so many little loose ends to tie up and i'm such a procrastinator that i dont get anything done- and i think i'm internalizing everything so i'm breaking out like crazy due to the stress!!! i need ot enroll in yoga or something!

i know everyone is saying youre still a year off but im just not the stressing type of person. seriously nothing makes me nervous or stress.. seriously like NOTHING.. smooth sailing for me. no reason to stress about things.. just slow down and enjoy everything!

i knew things would get done but i didnt enjoy running everyday after work to get something done and then last 2 weeks i had no work and was out running around from about 9a-10am until 11pm at night with how many things i had to do. Everyone kept saying 'it will all get done' i knew it would but that didn't take away from the exhaustion, the driving back and forth from queens to LI, or to the city. I was losing my mind. The last few weeks were like that though, s*cks because 6 weeks before i wasnt able to do much and had to stay in bed mostly since i was in a cast and crutches. When i finally was able to do something i had a long list with things i should've done the month before but couldn't
and i dont stress things, very rare to stress. It wasnt even stress bc i wasnt freaking out at all but more like i was running around like a maniac so maybe that would be a better explanation. Its not that youre freaking out and worrying, well some do. But for everyone, at the end is finishing everything and takes time.

I love planning things...I am extremely organized with everything including the money but reading this...I am getting STRESSED, lol. Like I have a little knot in my stomach. O well...I will enjoy it while it lasts...i am just happy for now and unstressed. good luck girls
