My TA told me that there are no longer direct flights to St. Lucia. there are two airports you can fly into UVF(bigger) and SLU (smaller and closer to Sandals resorts). AA flys to SLU both there is usually a layover in Puerto rico. Delta flys to UVF and the layover is usually in ATL. From I have been told if you fly through UVF the drive to the resorts (assuming you are staying at Sandals) is approxiamtely 1.5 hours. From the smaller airport, its about 20 minutes. I have heard of alot of people on TripAdvisor who have suggested taking a helicopter ride from the bigger airpot (at 120pp).

We flew direct from JFK on Air Jamaica (to the bigger airport) I am pretty sure that they still fly there direct - we just went in July.

Check out Air Jamaica's website - they have a direct flight from JFK to the larger airport. the flights are limited though, only on certain days of the week etc. the schedule comes out 330 days before the flight so i have to wait to see what day i can fly in!

ETA: bigger vs. smaller airport
if you go to the bigger airport it is a LONG and bumpy drive to the resorts ( i am assuming sandals) so make sure you take some kind of meds
in order to fly into the smaller airport you have to get one one of those smaller planes ( i think 50p?) and i refuse to get on one of those so i hope the drive isnt too bad!
