Is anyone buying personalized napkins and matches? I was considering it but was wondering if it is REALLY all that necessary?

in my opinion, i say no its not necessary. yes, its a nice touch, but not for me.
I agree...I can't remember a wedding that I've been to that I've looked at my napkin and thought, 'cool, their names are on them!' LOL....but they are a nice touch

I think i am going to do napkins... Definately not necessary...I do't think i really noticed them before...

Definitly not necessary..but nice if you want them and have the extra $$..We we have the extra money I might want to get the lighters..me and FH went to a wedding in October and we still have 1 or 2 lighters from it (even though we took about 5 SHH)

not at all - didnt even think of them - personally i think it is kind of old fashioned - last wedding i saw that at was in the 80's

NO!!!! No one smokes anymore and who wants people to wipe their mouths and blow their noses with your names!!! Save the money and buy a fabulous bottle of champagne to enjoy the night you get back from your honeymoon.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone express disappointment that they didn't get personalized napkins with which to wipe the food off their face or on which to put their drinks.
Nothing is necessary except you, your FH, and a person to marry you. All the rest are details.
