Are these prices reasonable?

HI Ladies,

Once again, I'm clueless.
What is an average price for a photojournalist that is taking 8 hours of photos at your wedding?
If I were charged $3500 for 8 hours, would this be reasonable, or on the low or high end? Note, this price does not include a videographer nor album. The album would be seperate cost. I would get to keep my negatives for free though

Also, what is the price range on albums? I'm sure it varies, but range?

Totally depends on the photographer...all the photographers we went to see were on that end of the range, which I would say is mid range....it depends on their location too I would think (city photographers tend to be more expensive than long island ones) and depends on his style, albums....equipment etc....
