Are these shoes appropriate for my wedding?

Are these shoes appropriate for my wedding?

Let me first say that if I could, I would wear flip flops under my dress, but my mother would KILL me, so these are the closest thing I could find. Are they cheesey? Be honest please, I don't have my heart set or anyhting. I think I might buy the flip flops to change into, anyway!

I think the slip or even part of your dress might get caught in the open heel.

i do like they way they look, but I think I would have to see a pic of your dress to give a proper opinion.

The first shoes are nice but JMO I agree with the above post, your dress might get stuck in them.

Knowing what your dress looks like, I have to say no IMO. I think they would dress down your beautiful dress . . .

Oh yes, they see your shoes. I got a ton of comments on mine & I had a semi Cathedral train!

Those are cute, where did you find them?

If anyone sees any slides or anything like that, please, please post them. I just want a low-ish heel and sandal-y. nothing worse than sweaty feet

Rachel, are you adamant about having sandals or open-toe shoes? I think a closed-toe satin shoe would look gorgeous with your dress.

I'm not adamant. I'm always open to suggestions I'm not wearing hose under my dress, though, so I just don't want that slimey foot feel if they are closed.

Wear peds...they'll only cover your toes and you won't get that feeling, which I totally understand.

These are a little more pricey.....but very nice. Do you want a heel or did you want flat -type shoes?

Yeah, I guess I can wear peds. I will MOST DEFINITELY be changing my shoes during the reception anyway, so any of that sexy watch-me-peel-off-my-sweaty-peds moments after the reception won't be a problem with me and JT

I need a much lower heel. I hate wearing heels as it is, and when my feet hurt, I get whiney! I have seen tons of shoes that I like, but that make my feet want to jump off my body and run!
