Stonybrook hospital charged me $95.00 to remove Damien's earwax!!!! I never asked them to do this, they removed it with some plastic thingy so they could look in his ears better I highly doubt my kid had $95.00 worth of earwax!!!
Boy, that sounds like your little man had enough wax in his ear to open a Yankee Candle factory!! Are they kidding?!?

My mom had a procedure and they charged her for all sorts of crap- charged her for sterile instruments, clean sheets, etc (Like $50 for clean sheets if FAIR??).. anyway- she called and said, i'm not paying that, it's crazy.. and they agreed

Not for anything, but even if he had excessive wax that prevented them from getting a clear view of his eardrum, they should NOT charge additional money to remove it!
Paul's pediatrician once tried for 10 minutes to carefully and gently remove some ear wax with a Q-tip - b/c she was not certain there wasn't an ear infection developing behind the wax...sure enough - he had some fluid that was causing an infection - BUT...there was NEVER an additional charge to remove the wax!
That is just insane!
