i am trying to book a flight for london for feb. and i was wondering if anyone knew of any deals or promotions.

THEY ARE USUALLLY MORE THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THAT THEY GAVE U TIME TO PAY FOR IT,,AS OPPOSE TO THIRD PARTIES WHERE IT IS PREPAID..

Travel agents are free. Contact one, see what he can do for you, and if you can beat his price on your own by using Orbitz, then just say 'thanks but no thanks' to the TA.

I am wonderifng this myself lately. I have been working on expedia for 2 weeks now, saving itineraries with different options, etc, for my honeymoon .. after a little research, I was able to get GREAT deals on my flights/hotels in alaska (a pretty expensive place to travel too) and I don't see how a TA would be cheaper, but I am going to give it one last shot before I book on expedia. A friend of mine who was a TA with liberty travel said that most of the time, TAs are not cheaper, and another friend of my mom's, who also used to be a TA, said that the websites like expedia are going to drive TAs out of the business soon (so she thinks) because you can't beat their prices.

Airline tickets have to be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. The rest of the vacation, hotel, transfers, excursions, can be paid over time up until 30 days before the first travel date.
Price of airline tickets all depends upon the inventory of seats available on a particular flight. Booking thru any of the options doesn't have any advantage over the other. Just depends upon how and when you hit the computer system.
