We were planning on it so we could get some of the hellos out of the way. But after spending hours taking pictures, we needed a second to sit down and rest! We sent our bridal party to the cocktail hour and the two of us sat alone in the bridal sweet for a couple of minutes. Our bridal attendant brought food and drinks. It was really nice to have a second to ourselves. I think it was the only time we were alone the whole day!
We are definately going. We are doing pics and then CH, planned a gap so we could be at the whole thing. Our thought is that 1/5 of our money went towards that hour and I dont want to miss it.
My cocktail hour is where i am saying hello to everyone.....
I don't know if I want to go to mine. There isn't much time between the church and CH and I kinda wanted to spend some alone time in the bridal suite before becoming a partying fool for the rest of the day.
We did. We walked in after about 20 minutes that it started. Said our hellos, checked out the yummy food then went back inside and just relaxed for 15 minute

we were at our whole coctail hour...and i'm sooo glad! it gave us a chance to greet everybody and do the rounds, so that we could enjoy the reception doing what WE wanted to do ( dancing with our friends!) instead of going around to the tables....
PLUS, you're paying soooo much money for the hall- you might as well enjoy all the food there that you can!![]()
ETA: and we still had our ' big entrance' into the reception, too![]()
We did, it gave us some down time btw photos and allowed the wedding party to get some food in their system. Plus, I got to relax and see so many of our guests!
