they are the owners. Usually you dont have to tip the owners but I am seeing that some brides are still doing this.

Yes, I am. They have been through the whole process with me and if i'm happy with them on the day of they will most definitely get a tip!

Yes I'm unsure about this issue too. My photographer is kind of like family, owns the business and will be shooting the wedding. Do I give her a tip?? I don't want to insult her either way

We tried to tip our photographer last night for e-pics and he refused to take it! He said 'this is my job and I love it' . I thought that was awesome! Cause we're broke!!!!

I think so. Haven't gotten to finalizing all the tips yet.

Yes, absolutely.

Employees are the ones who should receive tips - not owners of businesses.

I don't know why... but I just don't agree with this. Even if they own the business they still have to pay for rent, employees, etc... If they do a great job, why not tip them for it?

The rent and employee salaries are IMHO built into the price we as brides are being charged. For an owner to 'qualify' for a tip, they have to be more than just great, they have to be extraodinary. For example, you pay your florist to make your bo-ks and CPs. If you truly wanted tulips but couldn't afford them and went with a less expensive flower, but then the day of you had your tulips then the florist has earned a tip. (and I don't mean the delivery guy, I mean the actual florist).

We tipped everyone - owners or not. They were with us all day and did a great job. Not all of the owners would accept the tips though
