We had a wish bowl instead. We had it placed close to the bar so we got a good number of people write.

We're doing a book that has our e-session photos throughout it so if it's not filled w/signatures at least it's still a photo album!

we didn't do a book, i saw it as another thing we wouldn't know what tto do with after the wedding. Like all the cards, left over favors, invatations, seating chart, money box that fell apart. I hate to throw these things away but what do you do with them

My MIL bought us a guest book so we used it and to be honest people ar more concerned with getting there place cards that we barely have two pages filled out on the guest book, if you really want one, maybe after your reception starts you can have someone pass it around to be signed, otherwise I think it gets overlooked.

I tried explaining to my older sis that I do not want a guest book for that reason.. I think she's still going to end up getting one. I am prolly just going to get one of those signauture matte frames at the bridal shower and that's it. I have the 'advice jar' and I think that will be more then enough...since I'm also putting mine NEXT to the bar. I will also put enough of the little papers on each table with a pen and little poem to fill them out and stuff them in the jar. :) I really think it'll be hilarious to see some of the things some people will write. lol.

We did the polaroid guest book thing. No one was really into it. I think we got 10 people. Regular guest books are more successful, I think.

Not in the traditional sense. I used tags that people signed and then hung on a tree (see my review for a pic) now that the wedding is over with I have thread the tags together along with my wedding cards and will eventually put in a scrap book with all the news clippings on the wedding.

We are doing a photo album guestbook. We have 1-2 pics per page of us throughout our relationship and guests can sign around the pics. This way, if many people don't sign, we still have a photo album of all our favorite photos!
We are going to bring it to our rehearsal dinner so at least our close friends and family can sign it in case they forget to at the reception.
I am doing a big picture frame that everyone signs and then you put your wedding pic in the middle.

I made a scrap book instead and had people to sign inside the scrap book this way if not every one signs it still has meaning because it's a scrap book of our time together

We made a photobook on shutterfly in which we put some pics of us, but also pics of ALL of our guests, literally all of them! it was organized as us, the BP, our immediate families, my extended family, DH's extended family, and then our friends---SO many people signed it--it was a HUGE hit!! People loved looking and seeing what picture we used of them! We put our parents on scanning old photos and we had some digital, and DH really took on the project--he did a great job, and it was definitely one of our best DIYs!!! It was great!!

We did a guest book and yes people signed- there were very few that didn't - we got ours from this site- was very fun and diffrent.
