Are we really supposed to get 24-30 inches of snow this weekend?
My hubby heard this from people that he works with..it's supposed to start Saturday night into Sunday and Monday...

All I heard was 2/3 inches on LI...lets hope thats ALL we get! I dont care for snow!

I heard snow too but they never told us how much yet. Also, they are not sure if it is going to snow yet. They have to see tomorrow and Friday.

they were talking about it in WPLJ this morning & they said depending on the track of the storm, we might end up with over 2 feet of snow starting Saturday night into Monday...
I hope not, FH & I were suppose to go to the Pocono's for a getaway weekend!

oooh i would love that! i'd finally get to go sleigh riding. we bought one last year right after that first snow in december and then it never snowed on a weekend again so we didn't get to use it. i'll be doing my snow dance from now til saturday

i'd be careful -- i used to go to school near the poconos and whenever NY got 3-6, PA would get like 12-20

exactly, if they are still predicting the snow on Friday, we aren't going...We have a house in the Mountains of Poconos & the driveway is a HUGE hill...Even with my 4WD, we will not be getting out of that driveway!

If we get that much snow on monday i wont be going back to work! I am suppose to go back on the 24th! but if we do get over 12 inches they close so I will be off.

the moral of the story is that nothing bad ever happens when you get 6-12 inches

I want some nice fun snow. But I am getting tired of 15 degree weather.
