This might be a stupid question, but I truly haven't seen anything mentioned about this in all of my magazines and post reading. Are we supposed to give a favor out at the rehearsal dinner? More importantly perhaps, who exactly is supposed to be invited to the RD? I'm assuming BP and immediate family (parents and siblings--no aunts/uncles etc.) right? I don't think my future in-laws are planning to invite anyone else. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. I had my fingers crossed that you would all tell me 'no'---I don't think I can handle having to think of another thing that needs to be done. I still have too much to do and the wedding is only 33 days away!

No. We are giving out readers and BP their gifts.
FH's 5 nieces and nephews who live out of state will be there so I made up some 'goodie bags' for them with games and a custom coloring book. I got all of the stuff at the 'Dollar Tree' store in Levittown.

it is not necessary to give favors but we are giving out the individual bottles of pommery pop champagne...

At the rehearsal dinner you can give the bridal party and people doing readings there gifts. But the dinner is supposed to be for immediate family, anyone involved with the ceremony (that' why it's rehearsal dinner- you do it after you rehearse at the church or where ever). Also any out of town guests are supposed to be invited as they are in town for you, you are supposed to entertain them while they are here.

I'm impressed that you knew what it was from that small picture. I'll admit...I'm guilty...I'm also one of those brides on the Greek bride thread because I'm marrying a Greek. That's him in the blue shirt dancing with his family last summer during our trip to Greece. I can't wait for my Greek dancing lesson so I can lead the guests at the wedding.

I would like to just have Hershey's Kisses and Hugs (if I can find them) in pieces of tulle with a not - 'Hugs & Kisses for the Future Mr and Mrs' - found that from someone here on LIW
