When you get gas are you a self serve or full serve kind of gal? How about when gas prices were lower?
I have ALWAYS been self serve. I went full serve once when it was cold - and the drunk gas attendent proceeded to hit on me (mind you - he was dressed up as Santa!). I vowed never to go full serve again

It doesn't matter to me; if I have to pump it, I will but if I don't (especially in the winter), that's cool too.

but I go to the stations were they don't charge more for it
I hate to pump gas- I did it myself last night and I got gas on my hand- yuck!

yes easy for you to say in your warm southern state- it's cold here!
I don't refuse- I just perfer- and I wont pay extra for it- I need perium gas- it's almost $3 a gallon!
but when I do get full serve- I tip

My FH refuses! I think it is so funny - he always goes to full serve stations, while I only go to self serve.

I was full serve in HS. I didn't have a car in college except when I came home on break, but I also used full serve. Finally, by the time I went to law school, I learned how to pump my own gas. We lived right near a full service station at home so there was never any need to do self serve. I only go to self serve now. I'm not sure if my mom even knows how to pump her own gas. I've certainly never seen her do this.

where I live now it is the same price as the self serve
It is bad to not know how though- because once I was driving and had limited gas , found a station- ONE in the middle of nowhere and it was self serve, I asked the man to PLEASE pump it for me...and he was kind and did! Helps being female I guess, more people willing to help.

When I lived on LI I was a self serve, but I live in NJ now, I haven't pumped my own gas in nearly 10 years!

It depends on where I am when I need gas. I have a few stations where I stop at, one is full serve and the rest are self.
