I asked FH if he wanted to exchange gifts this year...to which he said 'Sure, why not?' I want to keep it budgeted though. Are you guys doing the same?

were not exchanging christmas gifts... both of our birthdays are a month away from Christmas so we are only doing bday gifts this year

Granted, I am spending a little less than I normally do on FH (Christmas is also his brithday, so I normally go a little crazy with the spending), I am still getting him a few things this year.

Yes...we put a cap on how much we will spend on eachother this year. Sames goes for our anniversary

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Don't get me wrong I'd love another piece of jewelry but I would rather us save our $ so that in a year from now we could be buying a house. Ugghhh if I could only win the lotto!

probably not..our sons bday is jan/my bday & wedding in feb..so this year its all about the little man..anything we do for eachother will be wedding related
