Are you and hubbie riding in your own car from the ceremony to the reception?

What is the norm here? Are we supposed to get married and then join our bridal party in the limo? Or get our alone time in the 20 minute ride to the reception? I remember being a bridesmaid and having in the bride in the limo with me...... confused....

Our bridal party is going in the limos and me and my fiance are going alone in the rolls royce.

most of the bridal party will be in a separate limo. We are taking our MOH and Best Men with us in a smaller limo.

Just a little side note on this also, if you do decide to get your freak on, be careful about black lights at the reception

We are riding in our own limo (classic car) from the ceremony site to the photo shoot location. After that we will either hop in with the BP on the way to the reception or bring the BM & MOH in the car with us.

The way I'm doing it is:

- The Groom and Groomsmen and Grooms parents are riding in one car to the church.

- Then once they drop them off, that car is coming to my house and will pick up the Bridesmaids and I'll have another car for me and my parents.

- After the cermony one car will be for me and my husband and the other will be for the rest of the bridal party.

yeah we are riding in our own limo. The limos are big enough to fit the whole bridal party in one. FH wants the alone time. He thinks that he will be getting his freak on in the limo. I think NOT. we will see about that.

LOL...I know right, so does mine. He wants to 'consumate' the marriage before the reception. UMMMM...I don't thinks so! Don't want to mess my hair or makeup!

We only have 4 people in our bridal party, so it seemed silly to have 2 limos- we haven't booke dyet but we will get 1.
Ritehr it will pick him & teh guys up ,d rop themat teh church, get me, dad, & the girls and take them to the church

Or the bestman or a relative will drive the guys to the church & the limo will just start at my house.

And then after the church the 6 of us (and maybe my brother) will take the limo to the reception. We will take pictures there.

We are riding by ourselves in a Rolls Royce and the BP in their own limo.

My bridal party was large so we had 3 limos. We had the MOH and Best Man in our limo and the rest of the bridal party in the other 2 limos.

I don't think there is a 'norm' here, it is whatever you and your FH prefer. We chose to do a seperate car, we figured we could use this little bit of alone time to soak in the fact that we just got married! Also, we are taking pics at OWG and the bridal party doesn't need to be there for nearly as long as we do, so they can go ahead to the reception hall and FH and I will follow in our own car when we are finished.

We are having one limo for my FH and GMs,
another for the BMs and the RR for me and my parents.

The RR will take me and FH from ceremony to reception, I would like a few minutes alone with him before the party!
