Do you print diagonally since the paper becomes a cone?

I made mine by rolling doilies into a cone shape -- my MOH made them the night before the wedding. It was pretty easy and they worked!

you make a circle the whole width of the margins & then u can add your names at the top, once u print that you cut along the circle & you roll it into a cone shape ,, hth

If you cut it into a circle and then fold into a cone shape you won't get the 'point' at the center of the cone... Anyone have a template they used to make these?

Also, to do the M (or any letter) behind your names, do a WordArt with your letter and then in properties click on the option to place behind text.

i used doilies also, but my cat chewed on so many, that i ended up throwing them away. i almost threw dh away, because he thought it was no big deal.

The cones with the doiley looks great! Thanks for this tip! This might be a silly question, but they petals are for tossing instead of rice, right? so where are these cones hanging out before they are used?

most girls put them in a pretty basket, and then it depends on your venue. if it's outside, you can place then on the seats with a note as to what to do. if you're having an inside wedding and you want the toss outside, you have have someone be in charge of handing them out for when the bride and groom come back out for pictures of the toss.
