are you decorating your house for the big day?

Original post by M&LSept1606

I was thinking about decorating my Dad's house for the day of the wedding. Since everyone is getting ready at my Dad's and that's where the photographer is taking our photos first.

But, is that cheasy? Are you all decorating your houses? I don't mean paper decor, or balloons or anything.. just toole on the banister with some pew bows, etc. is that 80's?

please give me your honest opinions please

we are just having a landscaper come in and do flowers in the front yard. Also some flowers in the house- no balloons or anything

Yes, my Mom has been buying candles and is getting a lot of fresh flowers for the big day to be placed around the house.

Don't want to be a damper...but be careful...I know two people whose housees were robbed...because i guess it was obvious that they were not going to be home..one in BK and one on LI....

One was my friends cousin, so when she got married her parents asked the neighbors to take down the decorations after they left for church....

It's true...

We had my mom's tenant pull the decorations down after we left for the church.

my mom is decorating the inside & we are putting the 'wedding' flag outside...She decorated so nicely for my brother's wedding, it is only appropriate!!!

This is what we did too!!!
