Not really. Our first dance song is a bit untraditional, but that's about it. My family would be angry if we did anything offensive/controversial.

gray tuxes....but I don't think it'll start any fights and I know some of our guests frown upon open bar...oh well, they're just gonna have to deal with that on their own...

for some reason me not getting ready at my parent's house caused a BUTTLOAD of controversy with my dad. we had an enormous blow-out about it and he actually told me that my wedding would 'ruined' cause I wasn't being traditional by doing that and seeing my DH before the ceremony for pics.
yeah my wedding kicked assss anyways.

I'm not doing anything controversial. But, I'm having it at a place that is different. It's a historical mansion and their are different rooms for everything. The dining room is just for eating. The ballroom is in a separate room for dancing. There is also a sitting room and an outdoor courtyard for hanging out.

OMG that was a good one-
We're not doing anything too drastic- the only thing we're doing that may cause some eyebrows to raise is that we're not doing a open bar because that it's a morning wedding- we're just sticking to the unlimited beer, wine and soda.

i plan on wearing a non-white wedding dress...don't really care what people think
and i won't be getting ready at my mother's house...she can complain all she wants but there is no way in heck that my girls and i are going to get ready with the bazillion family members that are staying at my mom's house
