we didn't have a sitdown reception, instead it was buffet, there was seating throughout the castle and the dancing was in the ballroom. it worked really well...

We're getting married by a friend who is getting ordained over the internet. Lol the other day...one of the groomsman said it was a mockery. I voted to kick him out but I know he's joking. I think. Stupid boys...do they really always have to say everything that comes out of their mouths.

We walked into Pink Floyd's Brick in the Wall Part 2-the chorus. My friends thought it was awesome and my ILs were probably horrified!

We're doing a Jamaican Singer for cocktail, not really controversial but nobody in my fam. has done anything like that so i'm sure people will have something to say. Alot of untraditional Rock & Roll and our First Dance Song is BED OF ROSES so i'm sure that will raise some eyebrows.

Not really doing anything controvesial. I'm just not doing the garter toss or bouquet toss. I hate that tradition.

I'm only having 1 MOH and flowergirls, no bridesmaids, and this bothers my parents and they say that everyone will gossip about not having bridesmaid (I have no clue why that's gossip-worthy, but I tell them that if that's the only thing they gossip about I'll be perfectly happy)

...that's about as controversial as I think my wedding will be

We are not having instrumental music at the ceremony- it will be the original songs w/ lyrics

the rabbi will speak minimal hebrew- he doesnt understand hebrew and neither to most of out guests and i definitely dont understand it- we want to understand our vows

i dont think im doing the chair thing. We will still do the horah but my fat arse is NOT getting up in the chair.- im sur eit will make waves, but im affraid of heights and dont want ppl saying hw heavy i was or worse- not being able to lift me

oh- and dance music- i want o play some music my friends and i used to dance to at the bars and clubs (reggae, etc) and im sure there will be some dissaproval but oh freakin well

I am not getting married at a church and we may even be married by a judge because FH is very private and religion-phobic But it will be a beautiful ceremony anyhow. My mom is a little upset about that, but she is coming around ...
