any or none of these? I have heard people saying the tossing of the bo k is out of date and cheesy....

we were not going to do the bo-k toss, but I forgot to tell my florist not to make a toss bo-k....well it is a good thing b/c all my gf's came up to me & were like...'when are you doing the bo-k thing?'
I thought it was a cheesy tradition, but I guess some people look forward to it.
I do not know about the other thing, but we did not do it.

I've never seen anyone do the last couple standing thing, though I've ehard of it here, I've enver been toa wedding where they didn't toss the bo-k. I think it's cute. I'm doing it, but I'm not gonna make the one who catches the bo0k and the guy who catches the garter dance together, ro ahve the guy put it on the gir's leg....iewwww

My aunt (MOH) and uncle (her husband) will be celebrating 11 years of marriage on that same exact date. We are having two couples of honor; the other is my FBIL (Best Man) and his wife. We are going to dedicate a song to them and give them a bouquet and garter.

we did not do the bouquet/garter thing or the last couple standing dance. The bouquet thing was just not us. We did have an anniversary dance for our parents though. Four days after my wedding was my parents 28th wedding anniversary.

There won't be many singles at our wedding so there is no point to doing the former.

the 'last couple standing' is when you have a song and the MC calls out anyone married for 5 years or less sit down...10 years, 15 years....etc...and goes up, until there is the couple that is married the longest.
the last wedding i went to two sets were married 53 years. The MC had them give the couple advice. It was adorable.
I will be doing that...at least i think...those same two couples will probably win at mine...

We're doing the bo-k & garter toss. FH has been looking forward to the garter toss for the longest. He has caught several at other peoples weddings and now it's his turn to do the tossing instead of the catching.

we are doing NONE OF THE ABOVE!! Of course its a personal choice nothign againtst it but i just want to DANCE DANCE DANCE and i dont want to stop for it LOL. Plus all my friends are married tere would be n oone to catch it

We are going to give the bouquet and garter to the couple married the longest and have him put the garter on his wifes leg... The couple has been married for over 60 yrs - they have such spunk - I really think they are going to have a great time with it...
Now I just need to find a good song for them....
