Unless you are having ALOT of OOT guests, I always thought it was one of the things where people wuld just say 'oh the RD is fri at 8'

I think they are really uneccessary. I swear, they come up with these ideas just so more brides shell out more $$$$.
I've been in a bunch of weddings and never received one.

i have seen people posting that they are....i think its silly... no offense i just think all these little extra expenses are not necessary....i am not having a 'RD' i was thinking of just having everyone come back to my parent house and hang out and BBQ lol i really cant afford to bring a buch of people out to dinner

More than half of our guests are from OOT. OUr RD has a guest list of 70 people so we are leaning towards sending them out. I have received them in the past but mostly for destination weddings but since our wedding is a destination for more than half the guests we are leaning towards doing something. If we didn't have so many people we probably wouldn't though...

I would consider that an RD. FH and I are having our RD at our house.

My MOH did bottles of wine with the invite wrapped around them...they came out AMAZING!!! but seriously they were a giant waste of $$....no one really understood and she had to chase everyone down to hand deliver them. Its still a friggin awesome idea so if you have time I would do something like that....

We are going to just so the information gets out easily and everyone will also get directions. I am probably ordering them from vistaprint when they have a sale again. The one I like were 3.99/10 when they were on sale. Can't beat that!

I dont think we are. Everybody who is coming to the RD already knows the date so its fine lol. Plus we never received RD invites. I have too many other things to do so why added something i dont really need. If we feel we HAVE towhich i dont think we'll need to then ill get something very simple
