Are many of you still friends with the same people you were in HS? I'm completely different then I was in HS, I mean I would hope so since I have been out for 10 years. I'm not friends with any of my old groups of friends from HS except for 2 friends who I grew up with and I stay in touch with who I went to HS with to. I was browsing myspace and came across an old friend's page and it was scary bc it was like they were still 18, pictures of them doing keg stands. After hs I only stayed friends with a handful of my old friends, so there was the group of us and by the end of college, we all went our seperate ways. My old group of friends I have nothing in common with now anyway as I'm not into the whole party scene anymore and since me and FH have been together, we're attached at the hip. I tend to loose touch with people but really with my schedule it's kinda hard to be facebooking all day lol. I was thinking of joining facebook since I know basically all my old friends are on there, but really is is worth it?

Nope, I only have one friend that i've been friends with forever-we have been friends since kindergarten, the rest of my friends are all after college

I'm still friends with a good deal of people from HS... I graduated 5 years ago, and I'm still really good friends with like.. 10-12 probably and friends with maybe another 10, and in touch with probably another 10 or so.
That's just people that I went to high school with. There's people that I've been friends with since high school age but that didn't go to my hs.
As far as facebook, I couldn't tell you personally. Facebook came out the year after I graduated HS, so we were all still bff and friended each other lol.
However, I have heard people who are older than I say that it really reconnected them with old friends, so probably worth it.

I am acquaintances with some people from HS but I have 4 girls that I still extremely close with. I have definitely changed since HS since that was 10 years ago, but I love that the 5 of us can still get together and laugh about when we were younger!!! I have met new people along the way but nothing compares to my girls! We just have a bond since we grew up together and have alot of experiences with each other such as first crushes, relationships and so on.
Edited because I forgot about facebook! I think facebook definitely helped me connect to some old friends as well although, then there are those people you were never really close with and request to be your 'friend'.

i talk to a couple of people from high school on facebook. i have 1 very close friend from high school, went to her wedding & going to her daughters first birthday party. but the majority of my friends are from when i was in dancing school since i was 3 years old.

i still see 2 friends i know from HS, every now and then we will catch up for coffee. Unfortunately i have drifted apart from the people i was closest to in HS though.

I love Facebook (personally). I use it to talk to the people I'm friends with now, but quite a few people from HS have friended me. It's nice to see what some of them are up to and some of them you just want to say, 'THIS ISN'T HIGHSCHOOL!!!' to. The point is, what's the worst that can happen? You join and then you don't talk to them even on facebook? I'm only friends with a few people I went to school with, but it's nice to see what's going with them (one of them is on baby #2) and especially to see pictures (my friend who lives in Fl just got a new house and decorated the nursery for her expected baby girl in such a precious way). I'd go for it!

umm...i'm still close with 1 or 2 people from HS. But i've known them since kindergarden too so i guess it doesn't count.
I'm still cool with everyone though but a lot of people just went their separate ways.

I am only friends with my BFF Johnny and my friend mela. I k.i.t. with some of girls every now and than, but really my group of friends really went their own ways after college...

Actually yea I am I would say probably like 6 girls I am still real close with.... 4 of whom are my BM's.... We just always remained close. went to colleges near eachother only by chance and have just all remained in eachother's lives

I still have my closest friends from high school, I am in two of their bridal parties this summer, another one is my best friend. The rest of my friends from HS (and even college) have drifted apart.

i used to..but we kind of all grew apart going thru college...i am talking to a girl now and we will see what happens...andthere are two more than even tho we are not close as we used to be..i sitll keep in touch..

theres a group of 7 girls that i have known since in 2 years old. we all grew up together and are like sisters. we get on each others nerves allll time time and have gone through no talking periods but in the end theyre my best friends and no one will ever understand me like they do.

I am still really good friends with my HS friends. 5 of them are in my bridal party. And I see another 5 or so of them on a regular basis.
I also think facebook is an awesome way to stay connected. There is a large group of people from my graduating class on there and every so often a mini-reunion takes place.
I think they key is that most everyone changes after HS and facebook allows you to reconnect with people you might not even had one thing in common with in HS...but now find yourself with things in common, mutual friends etc.

I'm close friends with two people from high school (meaning I talk with them at least once a week) and I'm friendly with one other person, but we can go months without talking.
Other than that, I've approved some facebook friend requests here and there, but have also ignored some.
