Are many of you still friends with the same people you were in HS? I'm completely different then I was in HS, I mean I would hope so since I have been out for 10 years. I'm not friends with any of my old groups of friends from HS except for 2 friends who I grew up with and I stay in touch with who I went to HS with to. I was browsing myspace and came across an old friend's page and it was scary bc it was like they were still 18, pictures of them doing keg stands. After hs I only stayed friends with a handful of my old friends, so there was the group of us and by the end of college, we all went our seperate ways. My old group of friends I have nothing in common with now anyway as I'm not into the whole party scene anymore and since me and FH have been together, we're attached at the hip. I tend to loose touch with people but really with my schedule it's kinda hard to be facebooking all day lol. I was thinking of joining facebook since I know basically all my old friends are on there, but really is is worth it?

When I left my ex for Shawn, I lost touch with all of my high school friends bc they were his friends too, and he was around more than I was. It was really no sweat off my back though, I was growing up and majority of them weren't... I only have one friend that I have been friends with since I was in 7th grade, I met her when I was 11...She is now going to be my MOH (even though she doesnt know it yet lol) Her and I have been through everything and we really are like family, we fight, curse each other out, dont speak for months on end but she is still my best friend and we love each other to death. We both know if either of us ever needed anything we are only a phone call away...

Most of my girlfriends are the wives/ girlfriends of all FH's friends, believe it or not, two of them have become my closest friends.
I still talk to two girls from high school....they are long time friends though....

I was such a crappy friend at the end of hs that I lost some great friends. I do talk to a few though facebook but I haven't seen anyone in like 3 years. I'm excited for next year for my 10 year reunion and I'm helping organzing it.
Facebook is great because people have added me who I even forgot about.

I have a couple of friends from HS but they were childhood friends. I'm no longer in contact with anyone I met in HS. Most of my closet friends including my Matron of Honor are from college. Even in grad school I feel like there is only one or two true friends that I will be taking away from this experience when I graduate. At first it bothered me. My FH has all of his friends from childhood and on (he just a lovable kinda guy). But for me personally, it's better to have a handful of friends that I can count on rather than having a whole bunch of 'friends' that I can't, and I've learned to accept that.

I don't talk to anyone really from high school anymore. I was such a different person back then. I totally agree that when I look on facebook the people I was friends were are still out super partying every week and that was just not my scene. I decided not to friend those people because I have moved on and I felt going back was not what I wanted.

one girl i met in HS is my BM. another i known since i was 5 but we went to HS too and she is my BM too.
i still talk to a few other girls - but mostly through facebook. we kinda drifted apart. that kinda stinks.

I have two good friends from High School. Both of them will be BM's. One of them, we were friends in High School but did not spend so much time due to school schedules and the route home but now we are BEST FRIENDS!!!! The other one she lives in ATL and is married so I probably speak with her once a month.

There are only 2 girls from HS that I still see, and they're both going to be BM's in my wedding. One I've known since we were 6 (first grade), the other since we were 13 (7th grade). I still talk to some on FB, but not many.
Then there are a few that I rarely ever see, but will still be invited to the wedding. For instance, one guy I grew up with is actually going to be my florist. He is my mom's best friend's son, and I've known him my whole life. I hadn't seen him in a few years, but I went to his grandfather's wake a few months ago and he told me he wants to do my flowers (he used to do floral arrangements for the Waldorf Astoria).
FH still talks to 3 people from HS. One is another of my BM's, and one is one of his GM's.

I guess I am pretty lucky. I still speak with over a dozen HS friends and still call them friends. We see eachother whenever we can, have attended parties, their weddings and grew up together. FH has met them. They've become some of my closest friends. One friend we lost touch when one of us moved...reconnected on FB. I love it. Seeing her girls, how much she's accomplished. Its really nice. I like that FH and I can maintain friendships outside of our relationship. that is very important to me. Even more so is that they all get along really well with him.

Only really 1...she's my best friend/MOH. I talk to maybe 1 or two more thru texts or on facebook...see one of them out every once in awhile.
I'm much closer to college friends.

I'm good friends with a few people from H.S. (one actually since 4th grade) and three of them are in my bridal party. another one will be invited to our wedding but we kinda drifted since he's very into politics and the rest of us aren't.
There are others on facebook who are my 'friends' but we basically just check out each others pages to see what we're up to. With some 'closer friends' we'll send stuff back and forth or leave wall messages but I probably haven't talked to/ seen 80% of them since I graduated 9yrs ago. (With the exception of Laura b/c she's on LI weddings)

H.S.???? OMG so long ago!!!!! Lets see if I can remember There is 1 girls from HS is till keep in touch with but since shemoved out of state I dont see her as much. But I still have my BFF of 30 yrs. Didnt go to school with her but grew up with her

My 2 BM's are friends of mine from HS...one I have known since we were 5 though, the other I met in HS (She is a year younger).
I used to be in a group of 5 girls, we did everything together pretty much...1 of them is my BM, one of them I talk to occasionally and the other 2 are not a part of my life. So for the most part, no.
