I was just wondering is anyone using a pocketbook for the day of? If so can I see?

I wasn't going to, but ended up picking one up at David's Bridal the week of our wedding.
I kept my camera & lipstick in there, it came in handy ... I didn't have to worry about who's bag my stuff was in, just knowing who had my bag ... I think it made it easier.

I don't think I will be getting one. I think that I'd need a HUGE bag to hold everything so I'll just keep it all in the bridal suite

my dress came with a matching one, but it was unnecessary. anything i needed, my bridal attendant took care of.

nah--no need for one. my MOH had the tote bag i got her and she carried any personal stuff for me in that.

I didn't. I didn't want to spend the money and ended up using a combination of my regular black leather pocketbook and a tote bag for the extra stuff. The typical bridal purses are too small. I kept the regular bag out of pictures because obviously it didn't match.

i wasn't planning on it but i was in Estelle's with my mom just before the wedding and there was an absolutely PERFECT pocketbook! It was a small teardrop shape and had a big rose applicee on the front...which when PERFECTLY with the rose applicees on my dress i saw it & just grabbed it...i kept my lip-color & a little mirror in it. Came in handy during pictures but after that i never used it....darn photographer never even got a picture of it! BUT i loved it & that's all that mattered got it at Estelle's Dressy Dresses and it was really reasonable.
Yup! I have an obsessive compulsive make up reapplying disorder , so I needed a purse to keep my essentials in.I had a plain silver clutch - cute and I'll definitely be able to use it again.
I had one, but didnt use it-wound up putting all our cards in it

I wasn't planning on it, but that one posted above is very cute! I am just planning on FH toting my necessities in his pockets or having my girls help carry things!

I bought a small silver clutch for under$20 at target.com
I want to make sure I have eye drops and extra contacts, sometimes I have issues.
I figure since its silver, I can use it again after the wedding (I got silver shoes for the same reason).

I think i am going to get a clutch. something to carry lipstick and mints. Probably get one on ebay they have really cute ones.

Same here. I can't see myself stuffing everything into a small bag.

I didn't get a day of bag...instead my mom bought me a white with black trim tote bag that said 'The Bride's Bag' It had a cute little ering on it. I used that day of, because it fit so much stuff!! I think she bought it at Fortunoffs!
