I definitely thought I'd be married by now when I was younger. I'm 27 and will be when I get married.

I thought I'd be married by late twenties, but SOMEONE had to drag his feet. I turn 32 next month and will be 32 when I get married.


YOu mean younger? i got confused by your post...bc you wrote older, so i thought you didnt want to get married young but fell in love.

well i guess when i got to be old enough to realistically think about it, i figured i'd be on the younger side. i've been with FH since i was 18 and he is 8 years older than me. i knew he'd obviously be ready first and would end up waiting for me.

he was probably ready to get married around the time i finished college, but he knew i wasn't ready so he waited, and in fact in the last 6 months before our engagement i was like 'uhhh, ok im READY NOW - lets speed this up!!' in the end, i was 23 when we got engaged and ill be just shy of 25 when we get married.

i always thought late 20's ~ 30 ..and i'll be married when i'm 30 so yeah .. just in time *lol*

i always figured i'd be around 25 and that's the exact age i'll be when we say I do.

i NEVER EVER would have thought that i'd be married at 23.....its insane to me!! but i've also been on my own since 18 so i must admit that i feel a little older than my age, especially since i have girlfriends that are older than me who still live at home with their parents......i would have thought that i'd get engaged around 25 married around 27 kids around 30......NEVER would have imagined that i'd be engaged at 22!

When I just started college I thought I might be married a year or so after college. After seeing that you have no money when you're finished college and make cr@p for a salary, I realized it would be in my late 20s and I'm there now.

I met my FH almost 6 years ago. I thought I'd be married by 27 or 28 .. I'll be 31 ... which means no kids until at least 33. I definitely thought I'd have started the fam by 30.



But all will be fine. Can't change time, right? (Or a FH who took FOREVER to propose!)

me too! when I was younger (17 or so) i didn't want to get married, didn't want kids, etc. Eventually I changed my mind; I figured I'd get married in my mid 30s so I could have fun in my 20s (and did I have fun!). I'll be 31 when i get married.

Talk about an older timer chiming in...I'm 40 and always thought I'd get married by at 22 - 23 since I had the same boyfriend for 13 years...but everything happens for a reason.

I'm late :(

I probably should have been born 20 years ago because I wanted to be married by 20, have some kids and saty home.

FH and I have been together for almost 10 years so I assumed that we would be married sooner. Due to changes in education/career goals, we are getting married later so that we can feel as settled as possible.
