Are you going for a simple FG dress

The reason why I've asked is b/c I let my daughter pick out her own dress, and she is such a girly girl. The dress she picked out I think it's okay I really don't mind, but I have seen similar post where some brides felt that FG should be just plain and simple. They want them to look little girls. Is that b/c most FG are younger like under 5?
