Im thinking i want to be out and about during the cocktail hour but i know all weddings ive gone to the bride and groomhide out in the suite....i want to enjoy it....i have a outdoor patio and frozen drinks bar dammit!

We are totally going to be at our cocktail hour! I want to be able to chat with our guests and enjoy every part of our reception! Plus we aren't doing a receiving line after the ceremony, so our 'receiving line' will be at cocktail hour.

FH and I will certainly be at our CH. The CH is the favorite part of any wedding and we don't want to miss ours. We probably won't be there the whole time and we will probably grab a bite to eat in the bridal suite so we have more time to talk to people.
We have waited to long for this and are spending too much money on this wedding to miss one second of it!!

We joined our CH and I'm so glad that we did. We even had a little time during it to sit and eat a few bites and then we were able to enjoy the reception fully!

we TOTALLY plan to hit the cocktail hour, but probably about halfway through. There is no WAY I'm missing the raw bar!

The cocktail hour is the best part. No way am I hiding out during it. I want to use that time to greet my guests so I can dance the night away, eat good food and hear my steel drums.
We are missing about 10-15 minutes to make a grand entrance by boat, weather permitting. If it rains we will be there the whole time.
At my friends wedding FH had to sit in the bridal suite with the bride and groom. He said he was miserable and I was miserable not having him there.
Watch what you eat though. When I was a BM I got cocktail sauce all down my dress. No crab cakes for me on wedding night.

My plan right now is for a grand entrance after the ceremony as they are setting up for the cocktail hour.
Milleridge Cottage has this beautiful staircase and the bridal suite is upstairs. So I plan to walk back up the stairs right after the ceremony, have my dress all bustled up, then come down the stairs in a flurry of bubbles on our way into the CH!
I was talking with the DJ about it yesterday and it made me very happy!!!
We're doing pics beforehand, so it should all work out.

We walked around at our CH... Well, we took pictures on the patio for most of it and then we said our hellos and ate some food for the last 10 minutes... Personally, I wanted to say my hellos as much as possible at the CH so we could enjoy the RH and I am glad I did because we got MOBBED at the CH...

I didn't attend my Cocktail Hour.. I was taking pictures and mingling with my bridal party... This was all done outside and we had soo much fun.. My RH made sure our SUITE was full of food and drinks...

we went to the cocktail hour...didnt get to eat though because we said a lot of hellos so we could dance the nigth away at the reception! The bridal attendant brought us plates of food though so we got to taste everything..BEST decision we could have made!

we were seen at the cocktail hour...it is fine you go out a little before it is over to line up upstair or whereever and touch up hair and make up then they bring everyone into the reception room...and you make your grand entrance
