Im so confused.....my dress is A-line and at first I wasn't even thinking about a slip but now I hear maybe I'm supposed to have one to make it look fuller?? The lady in the dress shop didnt say anything about it.
Is anyone else doing this/ Didn't do it? If so, why or why not?? Was it b/c the dress NEEDED it, or you just liked the look of it?????

My dress was an A-line, I thought it was full enough for my small frame. I tried it on with a crinoline slip just to see the difference and thought it was just too much. So nope, I didn't wear one!!

first off - ur dress is absolutely gorgous!!! secondly, the slip is totally a personel choice...I would definetly try some on in the bridal shop and see what u like. I tried on a small, medium, and full slip with my dress - went with the full just because it made my dress look incredible. The bridal shop usually has them in stock so just ask Good Luck!

does your gown have built in crinoline?? mine did--and the women at the bridal shop insisted i needed one. well in fact i didn't:
with my a-line slip:
after the ceremony i practically RIPPED it off!!
without slip:
i pretty much see no difference!
if you have enough crinoline in your dress--you should be fine!

mine had one built in, however I wanted it even 'larger' so I bought another one to wear

The gown is beautiful. I think if you want to look like the picture you will defintely need a slip. Try on a few different ones at your fitting and see what you like best. Definitely take pictures so you can see how it photographs. Most dress shops will have a few different options for you. Good Luck!

MJ..........your so funny!!! Your dress was so beautiful....it didnt matter with or without your slip......... Can i ask...why did you want to rip it off......was it too hot?????
