are you going to dye your hair

I have a few gray hairs all up in the front. I was just wondering what other people planned on doing.

1) do you normally dye your hair or are you thinking of just doing it for the wedding.

2) are you going to do it yourself or get it professionally done

3) how close to the wedding are you doing it

Just looking to see what other people are doing and if they have ideas/advice.

I died my hair about a month before the wedding. I have some grays too and didn't want them for the wedding. I did it myself. I did it a month before so that the color would fade a little, because every time I do it it is so bold. Also, for like three days after I die my hair, it always seems to leak the color, so I wanted to do it in advance incase of rain so it didn't drip off to my dress!!

ohh good question....grays have been popping up like crazy......im going to have it professionally done...its just that once you start dying it, you need to stay on top of it!

I have chunky highlights in my hair and trying to figure if i should keep them or go one color, what may look best in pics with differnt hairdos

Just did it today at the salon!!! So that's 3 weeks before.

I have a ton of white hair (yes, Martha Washington white) and get highlights to camaflouge it. If you have never gotten this done, I suggest trying it out now to see how you like it. If you like it, you'll want to get it done between 1 and 2 weeks before the wedding.

I will be touching up my base and highlights in two weeks ( one week before my wedding) since my hair grows so fast.

I've been dying my hair since 7th grade (I'm crazy), now have a lot of grays & I think I colored my hair about a week or so before the wedding.

I color my hair pretty regularly.

About a month 1/2 ago - I bought Feria and kind of screwed up my hair a bit- ( not too bad, but still)

Since, I went for a semi permanent color @ the salon and it looks pretty good.

I am going to do it again right before the wedding ( a week or so)

Thanks for the advice. Especially bringing up the possibility of it dripping on to my dress.

I use to dye my hair and only once did I have that problem.

Me too. Start trying colors, etc., far in advance to figure out what looks good. I would recommend having a salon do it since it is easy to mess up...

I usually dye my hair... I did it a few weeks ago... I was thinking of dyeing it one more time before the wedding... you can see some roots comming in...
