No. The only thing is I gave my mom a list of friends I want invited. But that's all.

from past experience, i say unless you are going to plan it yourself, stay away. i had drama about the guest list and i was not involved. my sis would call me to complain about my fmil. fmil wanted to run the show, but not put up the loot. sounds selsfish, i know, but my sis really wanted to do this for me.

in the end it was a great day. and that is what mattered to me

Nope - I want a COMPLETE surprise - I will give ideas, the invite list and hand it over to my MOH to take care of. FH also knows what I want so he can help too!!

ill probably be helping and getting A LOT of advice from you girls since both my mom, sister nor I have ever been to a bridal shower....

Of course I wouldn't have it any other way....

As for the bacholorette party my MOH is on charge of that.... and I heard that will be off the hook.... something that people would not want to miss!!

me too. I give my sister my list yesterday, so all I have to do is wait.

My moh is in florida, and were deciding that now, if my mom should do it cause she has school and she can't miss class... she won't even be able to attend....

P.S. how far before the wedding should the bridal shower be?

Well my MOH has been asking me what I want to do and so have been throwing out 'hints.' But I told her 'you know its supposed to be a suprise right?'

I want mine to be a surprise. But my mom has trouble keeping secrets and might slip on accident. My dad and FH had a surprise party for me for my 21st bday and they didnt tell my mom they were having it until that day!!!! She was not happy!
