CUTE pic jackie.
I will totally let my kids wear whatever they want as long as it is age and weather appropriate... I don't want to stunt their creativity in any way.
ETA: Goldi I just read your response!
I agree. I woud never elt ym kids wear something that they're gonna freeze their butts off in, or something dirty or wrinkled or sized wrong..but out of the clothes in thier closet, clean, on season, whatever...and let them pcks some clothes in the store..but like if they feel like wearing a wacky headbank or a weird color combination..NO problem..but when it comes to dressing inappropraitely for the weather or for their age, or wearing something dirty...that's just irresponsible parenting

depends on where they are going too- i think sometimes it acceptable and kind of cute, but other times you want them to look all put together i guess... depends on ages too

I didn't have any choice untill at least double digits.
I think for school, I'd lay out outfits & let them pick. On the weekends they could choose, bu within reason. . . not shorts in December or holiday clothes to play in the backyard.

Posted by Jax430 That's b/c parents are too concerned about being their child's friends and are afraid to say 'no' to them these days. I feel like DH and I are going to be pretty tough parents when needed.
Why are parents so afraid to say 'no' to their children now? It's absolutely ridiculous. My sister's kids are so unbelievably spoiled and rude and they're never satisfied and it's all because she will NOT say 'no' to them. I will never let my kids get that way. Her kids are more control of her than she is in control of them. It's sad.
LOL that's so true! Those kids are the reason my DH doesn't want kids!

It depends on many factors especially age. Yeah she can have a saying on the things she likes and what not, but If I don't think that is appropiate than she is definitely will not be wearing that.
